During the months of October and November, 285 schools in the Region of Murcia have participated in the Club Nautico de Aguilas of the Project "Sports and Recreational Activities in touch with nature" for the School Sports Programme of the Directorate General of Sports for the year 2009.

The design activity is based on the need for meeting spaces and dynamism of young people in sport, taking advantage of weather that makes the activity in the aquatic environment throughout the school year.

To this end, we designed a set of actions that are new alternatives for the introduction to water sports and approach to the natural environment of the coast of Murcia, diversifying the traditional destinations.

From Eagles, has traveled the entire coast from the sailing vessels sailing Yacht Club sailing and paddling a kayak, watching terns, seagulls and laughing, and even colonies of cormorants.

Have discovered this coast abounds cliffs, small caves, crevices and magnificent beaches, such as those located near Fraile Island, destination of some of the crossings and routes developed.

Visited the Castillo de San Juan de las Aguilas, where they met defending the Murcia coast of Barbary pirates, or learned the process of capture and sale in fish markets.

From Jumilla, Molina De Segura, Santomera, Caravaca de la Cruz, Mula, Sewer, Sewer, San Javier, Totana and Calasparra, most have found that the Mediterranean coast (or Sea) from Murcia offers a destination rich in possibilities.
