The municipality of Eagles, depending on what is stated in Royal Decree 865/2003 laying down the hygienic criteria for the prevention and control of legionellosis, will proceed next week to cleaning and disinfection of the 14 ornamental fountains the municipality.

Preventive measures are based on the application of two fundamental principles:

- Elimination or reduction of dirty areas through good design and maintenance of facilities.

- Avoid conditions that favor survival and multiplication of legionella, by monitoring chlorine levels and pH and continuous disinfection.
