The municipality of Eagles and the local branch of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, organized for today, together, an information day to mark the World No Snuff, held on 31 May.
Between 10:00 and 13.00 hours, it has installed a stand in the Plaza of Spain, with different information material.
Various authorities, including mayors were the Eagles and Puerto Lumbreras, Juan Ramirez and Pedro Antonio Sanchez, have shared time with the representatives of the Association.
The objectives of this action are to inform the public of the harmful effects of snuff consumption, smoking and not smoking, highlighting the benefits of breathing air is not contaminated by this substance, smokers' awareness of the importance of respecting and promote smoke-free areas, help reduce and prevent snuff consumption among young people and raise awareness among smokers that quitting is possible, among others.
