The Community of Murcia, through the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, will undertake the refurbishment work on the seafront of Levante beach and Las Delicias, in Aguilas, in order to improve accessibility of existing infrastructures , entailing a total investment of 3,774,212 euros.

With this action shall be conditioned ride today and its gardens, while that will unify the overall looks through the renewal of urban elements.

This will solve the problems of accessibility to the coast, through infrastructure that facilitate movement along the coast and provide a physical limit of the coastline, thereby increasing the enjoyment of the landscape by residents and visitors.

The purpose of the reform overlaps with the route of the existing drive, which is 1,600 meters long and an average width of about six meters, on which they will build new access to the beach along the stretch of Las Delicias and going to reorder the promenade gardens Parra in the Levante beach and street Air.

Also, be renewed urban elements throughout the walk and some stretches of the adjacent road (paving, landscaping, lighting, street furniture and other functional elements).

Likewise, the channel will be reshaped in the mouth of the Rambla de Las Culebras, which also will build a pedestrian terrace in the area near the Municipal Auditorium future.

Currently, the proposed waterfront redevelopment of the Levante beach and Las Delicias is subject to public information than thirty days after publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia on 2 December.

Current status of sections

The beautiful beach and Las Delicias, located in a natural bay, part of the Eagles waterfront, home to the fishing port, commercial and sports.

Currently there is a longitudinal strip parallel dual use, first pedestrian (the promenade) and other traffic service (road adjacent to the promenade), which are the subject of improvement works.
