The Institute for Youth will participate in the International University of the Sea with a course on "Non-formal education in youth work 'to be held at the headquarters of Eagles 15 to 19 September.
The course is for students, entertainers, educators, technicians, youth and persons acting in different environments, informal education with young people and aims to meet an existing demand for training in this field.
For five days, teachers, technicians, social workers and national and international associations will present their experiences in formal education to young people applied.
You will also find the work from the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia has been doing for years, with training programs for young people who act with no formal education mainly through its Youth Training Scheme and the Regional School of Animation and Leisure.
The course includes topics such as non-formal education in Spain and Europe, values education, citizenship and participation, education and environmental health, intercultural, work and socio-professional integration, qualification and training routes for intervention, education methodologies, socio-cultural, personal and social development of youth etc.
The course is directed by Professor of the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia, Catalina Guerrero, and the director of the School of Entertainment and Leisure Institute of Youth, Roberto Bañón, and coordinated by Diego Miguel Marín, educational consultant technical and socio-educational projects in European programs.
With this course, the Youth Institute began a collaboration with the University of Murcia for students and young people who act as associations, organizations, groups, volunteers etc.
The university offers studies on the educational, social, cultural and environmental qualifications in Social Work, Teaching or Sociology.
Registration for the registration of 'non-formal education in youth work' is open until 5 September.

The course will be held at the youth hostel in Calarreona, Eagles, where participants can also stay.
