The Cultural Association of Sport Fishing "City Urci" held last Saturday, one known local restaurant, the awards ceremony of the "XXII Social Championship".

José María Paredes Robles, "Morito" became champion in senior category this year and also the award for "Highest Parts" with 503 catches.

Paredes was also awarded by the association for having proclaimed Regional Champion Boat anchoring. "Likewise, his son Jose Maria Paredes Martinez was feted by the host association for its recent Regional runner-up in the category" subcasting "sportfishing and sixth position obtained in the past Championship held in Melilla Spain.

The second place went to Juan Francisco Soto, while Antonio Guindo got the third place in the annual league sport fishing.

The award for "Greater Piece" got Domingo Rubio, a copy of the fish known as "roncaor" with a weight of 1,322 kg.

In junior category, Alvaro Lopez Lopez was winner of the event which is held throughout the year.

Inmaculada López Salas won the second place and Diego Rubio Carrillo, the youngest of the "City of Urci" the third position.

The most emotional moment of the night came when it was announced the introduction next year of the trophy, posthumously, which will be called "Paco Sanchez Jimenez Memorial" dedicated to that was founding partner and president for three years of this organization, who died last August.

Also, during the gala dinner, also patrons and contributors to this veteran fishing association was presented.

The mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, accompanied by the Councillor for Sports, Christopher Casado, and the post commander of the Civil G. Eagles Joaquin Guillamón, were responsible for presenting the awards, along with the president of the association, Christopher Lee, and members of its board.

In his closing ceremony, Mari Carmen Moreno, announced that next year the City of Eagle presented with the highest award the couple that is proclaimed winner of which will be the "I Memorial Paco Sanchez Jimenez".
