Eagle City Council yesterday its first plenary session broadcast live via the municipal website.

A decision to offer the plenary sessions in real time from the network, which took the current government of PSOE and IU as a "way of giving greater transparency to the municipality and in response to an electoral promise made by the mayor herself" , emphasized Thomas Cosentino, Councillor for New Technologies.

So, from now on the plenary can be followed from any device with Internet access.

In addition, and always with the intention "of bringing the reality of the local council and of involving the largest possible number of citizens of all decisions taken", immediately at the conclusion of the plenary, the entire session is included in anywhere permanently so that those citizens who, for various reasons, have been unable to follow the live session can do so if they so desire, delayed at any time.

In this sense, the Councillor for New Technologies said that the addition of this new service to the municipal website is one of the many new features to be included therein, including Transparency Portal through which citizens can access lists of all councilors of the government team and asset declarations thereof.
