Yesterday September 15, coinciding with the celebration of Our Lady of Sorrows, the Patroness of Eagles turned to walk the streets of the town after several years without it.
At around 7pm the image of the Virgen de los Dolores left the parish of St. Joseph to be carried on the shoulders of the portapasos of the Brotherhood of Our Lady Virgin of Sorrows, popularly known as Paso Azul.
During the tour, which ran on different streets of the town to end in Mary Immaculate College, aquiline were hundreds who wanted to accompany his revered patroness, including the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Health and Social Services Rosalia Casado, and other members of the Municipal Corporation and Jose Caceres, president of the Brotherhood.
Already in school Mary Immaculate had a mass in honor of the Sorrowful after which the image returned in procession to the Parish of San Jose where it will remain until next Good Friday, the date on which it will wander the streets of his town.
