A few days before the start of the academic year, the group of the Communist Youth Union (UJCE) Eagles back in action after the summer season with a campaign for secondary schools of our town.
Under the slogan "Make your school a trench by the Public", there have been pasted posters in different institutes claiming a public, secular, quality education.
From the UJCE they say "live a historical moment marked by a neoliberal offensive against the conquests made by our parents and grandparents."
These "conquests" public education is "besieged by an autonomous government in the service of the UCAM and clearly favored private and religious education".
For the communist education, "disdain for the Popular Party to public schools" was evident last year when the then Minister of Education and now president of the region, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, did not attend the detachment of a sports court fence IES King Carlos III until after several weeks of its collapse.
Against the "neglect manifests to the Ministry of Education institutes aquiline", the Communist youth organization of the student intends to defend its interests, as was done in 2013 claiming a bus for college and pursue their bonus studies outside the municipality and regularly use public transport.
