The municipalities of Eagles and Montcada i Reixac, with the collaboration of Columbine Montcada Centre, organized last weekend gala commemorating the twinning between the two cities.
In the event that, year after year, marking the closure of the program of celebrations of the summer brought together a large number of participants including the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Celebration, Encarnacion Navarro and other members were the municipal corporation and the Councillor for Economy and Third Deputy Mayor of Montcada, Oscar Gil.
The evening, presented by Alonso Paredes, began with an exchange of gifts between the two municipalities.
"In Montcada, and Eagles, a new government team in front of the City Council decided to change many things but also convinced that there is to be maintained and is celebrating this act of twinning" highlighted the moncadí councilman.
Meanwhile the first hooked mayor recalled the close ties between the two locations.
"Many were the aquiline during the sixties emigrated to Montcada, over the years some returned and others chose to stay, but in either case, the bond that unites us is important and that's just holding acts like today involving a cultural exchange between Eagles and Montcada ".
The evening continued with the performance of the group of Havana Port Vell and a tasting of "rum cremat" typical drink on the Catalan coast.
