About a thousand troops will ensure security Eagles Carnival (06/02/2015)

This morning was presented in the Consistory aquiline, the Emergency Plan Specific Eagles Carnival 2015, which will be held from 7 to 22 February.

The presentation was given by the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, accompanied by the mayor of Health, Ana Maria Miñarro, and the Councillor for Public Safety, Francisco Clemente, and the deputy inspector of the local police, José Luis Sánchez, and coordinator the Municipal Emergency Service and Civil Protection, Pedro Sánchez.

According to local authorities, is expected to visit the city receives about 400,000 people throughout the fortnight long this Festival of International Tourist Interest.

Specifically, the new cataloging Eagles Carnival could make the number of visitors increased during this year, so resources have increased over previous years.

The team will participate in this Plan shall consist of about a thousand people belonging to: Municipal Emergency Services, Civil Protection, Private Security, Local, Fire, Technical Services, Civil Guard, Red Cross, 061, SUE Police and other public and private services.

In terms of material resources, will feature more than seventy vehicles and two hospitals (one campaign and other emergencies) and two hundred stations radiofrequency help coordinate the various bodies, while these deal with any eventuality through phone 112.

The area of ​​health security, aimed primarily at events related to the Carnival of the night, will be located on the Esplanade Port, facing the Plaza de Isaac Peral.

Like previous years, will be equipped with a field hospital and other material and human resources.

Similarly, Local Police and Civil Guard will be part of a prevention and safety device that will remain active in both the urban and rural areas.

This will take place during the celebration of the carnival events as well as in the hours before and after completion thereof.

Again, the security device also will cover the school parades, which are made by different schools of the town, an activity that has been taking popularity in recent editions of the Carnival, to become an event that brings several hundred people.

On the other hand, local authorities indicated that there are special bus services and taxis, which will run for 24 hours on the busiest days and until 2am the rest, covering the hotels and surrounding areas of the municipality .

Finally, the mayor of Eagle wanted to acknowledge the assistance of volunteers from the Red Cross and Civil Protection who will travel to the city from different municipalities, to reinforce this specific Emergency Plan for Carnival 2015, while the cooperation of citizens asked for all elapses satisfactorily.
