The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez and Councilman Agriculture, Francisco Navarro, near the local president of Asaja, José Martínez, yesterday delivered the prizes of the XXI Contest Bouquet Tomato, framed in the program of celebrations of the Immaculate Conception, in the hamlet of Garrobillo.
The test, which had the record number of 74 participants, was organized by the association of farmers Eagles, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture Hall of Eagles, BMN-Cajamurcia and Enza-Zadem.
The jury, composed of representatives from distributors, awarded three prizes for tomato truss and three for the ranch, and a gift to all registered.
The overall winners were Antonia Muñoz, for green tomato, and Pedro Sanchez, for red, followed by Maria Luisa Hernandez, Vicente López, Manuel Lorenzo and Julian Carmona.
The employer acts also included a Solemn Mass, accompanied by the music of the band and gospel choir Eagles and a procession with the statue of the patron, until Cabeza de la Cruz, courted with songs of Easter in his honor.
Similarly, a photographic exhibition in the parish of Garrobillo organized by the stewardship of that church, under the title 'La Purisima Candles memories', which was followed by traditional dances and present auction opened.
