Eagles approved for EU attract tourists in medium and low season (22/10/2014)

This morning was, in the capital of Spain, the fifth edition of the 'Europe Senior Tourism', a project managed by Segittur which is funded by the Ministry of Tourism, which aims to: boost the economy in tourist destinations during the mid and low season, maintain and create jobs, contribute to the construction of the concept of European citizenship and support active aging.

The ceremony was attended by President Segittur, Antonio López;

Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Borrego;

and Director General of Tourism in the Region of Murcia, Mariola Martinez, along with other authorities including the mayor of Tourism aquiline Consistory, Clara Valverde, was because Eagle has been one of the destinations that are approved within the brand Costa Warm, where also the towns of Cartagena, San Javier and Mazarrón are included.

The 'Europe Senior Tourism' is a travel system, addressed to citizens of the European Union from 55, which this year has introduced a new model in which the selection of destinations and trading is done through a process of approval.

Indeed, the firm aquiline Incoming east was one of only five companies validated in this edition, so their representatives, and Olga Asensio Martínez Montiel, also attended this event today.

According to the councilman explained by including Eagles in this program, the city will be receiving tourists from any of the EU countries and priority: Germany, France and the UK, among others, but not excluding other markets that may be incorporated at the request of the destinations and / or operators, prior authorization from Segittur.
