The Department of Health and Human Services of the City of Eagle announced today that the city will host the XVII Regional Early Childhood Conference, to be held on 30 and 31 May in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena".
They are organized by the Association ATEMP Murcia and have the cooperation of the Autonomous Community, the Consistory aquiline, the CDIAT Eagles, the Royal Board on Disability and the National Federation of Associations of Early Childhood Professionals.
As reported by the mayor delegate these areas, Ana María Miñarro, the conference will focus on interdisciplinarity in early intervention, with the participation of different professionals who will share their experiences and knowledge.
Miñarro wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate the professionals working in the Center for Child Development and Early Eagles (CDIAT), for the excellent work being done in the town.
Two psychologists, one speech therapist and physiotherapist, who provide: assessment and diagnosis, and cognitive stimulation, motor intervention, educational psychology, speech therapy, psychological counseling and family intervention, along with other health, education and social assistance.
Throughout these 25 years, has served CDIAT free to about 1,250 children and their families who have come derived from the services: health (paediatrics, neonatology, mental health ...), educational (EOEP, schools, kindergartens ...) , and social (social workers, retail service ...) and at the request of parents.
Early attention is the set of interventions aimed at children of 0-6 years old, his family and environment, having intended to provide immediate response to temporary or permanent needs presented by children with developmental disorders or who have risk of suffering.
These interventions, which must consider the totality of the child, are planned by the team of interdisciplinary orientation.
