Eagles are preparing the second installment of a "Cultural Event" in which literature, art, poetry and history combine it with the active participation of the public and where the figure of the Castillo de San Juan occupy a prominent place.
The appointment will be on Friday, May 23, at 20 am, in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena", with the presence of municipal representatives and numerous local artists such as the painter Manuel Coronado, writers Juan José Navarro and Pedro Vera or the historian and archaeologist Juan de Dios Hernández.
These authors offer a lecture on the different disciplines that are part of their lives and who have shaped his career, as they themselves explained during the presentation ceremony to the press, accompanied by journalist Beatriz Romero and Councilman together Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martínez, and aquiline Manuel Lopez, coordinator of this event that has the support of various commercial firms.
In addition, the event will include the second annual short story contest, where attendees can either participate and qualify for one of five awards to be delivered the same night.
The event is supported by the success achieved in its first installment, which was about one hundred papers presented.
This time, viewers will have to do a story about ten lines long, on a real or invented history, referring to the Castle of Eagles.
Thus, as stated by Francisco Miguel Martínez, Consistory aquiline seeks to promote interest in culture and literature, revealing the existing values ​​in the locality and the baggage of the artists are there, many of them recognized nationally and internationally, with particular interest in the youth group, since students will have an important role.
