Ruiz highlights the commitment to work together with the regional government of municipality of Aguilas to develop its tourism potential (12/05/2014)

The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, today said "the tourism potential of Eagles, whose council want to work together to promote itself as a dynamic asset to the Region of Murcia".

Juan Carlos Ruiz met in the City of Eagle with the mayor of the town, Bartolomé Hernández, aquiline agents and tourism industry to which he moved the regional government's commitment "to support tourism as a major engine of development of the municipality."

He also said, "I will develop an intense work to bring the town to tourists visiting the region of Murcia and make it a preferred destination."

In this sense, being a coastal town Eagles, Ruiz noted the offer of sun and beach and recalled that "the town has 28 miles of beautiful beaches, many of which feature the distinctive 'Blue Flag' and ' Q Quality ', what a unique seabed flora and fauna "are added.

Also, Juan Carlos Ruiz stressed "the affection aquiline feel for the celebration of Carnival, a celebration of National Tourist Interest," and he said, "walks with firm step to being declared of International Tourist Interest", as the Consistory aquiline has opened the record and hopes to have it completed by next year 2015.

In addition, the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Business and Innovation recognized that the varied cultural contributes to Eagles a more attractive town for tourism, in this regard he referred to the Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena ', whose installations art exhibitions, lectures, concerts or theater alternate throughout the year, with particularly congress tourism.

Eagle also has a museum, monumental and scenic route that includes guided and free for tourists every weekend visits.

Thus, there are museums like the Railway, Archaeological, Roman Baths, football hall-museum photographer José Matrán of the castle located in the San Juan de las Aguilas and the recently opened Interpretation Centre Mar-aquiarium.
