Last weekend parties held in Águilas de la Cruz de Mayo, which, again, again bringing together thousands of people to enjoy a full and varied program of events.
The event pulled in Saturday night, with a massive Moraga in which parted, completely free, over 8,000 sardines.
The evening continued with a great popular festival, in which she performed the duet "Sabor Latino" and crews "Marina de Cope" and "Cuesta de Gos".
Already in the morning on Sunday, the local chief executive, Bartolomé Hernández, and the mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde, near the village headman of Águilas, Nicolas Bonaque, presided over the main events of this colorful celebration, which included a procession the cross and the image of the Virgen del Carmen, accompanied by many citizens and local authorities.
Also held the traditional delivery of commemorative plaques to different people linked to the hamlet, which this time fell on: Francisco Serrano, Ginés García and Pedro Montalbán and other posthumous tribute to Jaime Mayor who collected his widow Francisca Carrasco.
The day, full of good times and coexistence between locals and visitors, tasting concluded with a giant paella, of which about 2,000 rations were served.
