Craft sea rescue of Spanish Red Cross made two saves during the day on Sunday May 11 (11/05/2014)

During the afternoon on Sunday 11 May, 3 boats based in Águilas, Mazarrón and Cartagena have intervened to assist distressed two ships, one of them with an important waterway and another stranded on a beach.

The first activation occurred at 16 hours upon receiving a distress call from a vessel of 11 meters in length with a leak without Tiñoso Cape government.

In aid of the boat touched the LS West intervened based Salvamar Mazarrón and Cartagena based Mimosa.

One of the rescuers involved in relief efforts, pertaining to the provision of managed Mimosa plug the water inlet, thus ensuring the safety and maneuverability of the vessel was then towed to safety by LS West.

Two hours later, at approximately 18.10, Titania was the LS-based Eagles which addressed the Amarilla Beach opposite the Isla del Fraile to assist a sailboat was stranded without possibility of government.

30 minutes later and after the maneuvers carried out by the crew of the yacht Titania LS was free, being taken to port by its owner.

Thanks to the speed and efficiency of relief efforts of all crews who have spoken, belonging to Spanish Red Cross and Salvage, none of the crews of the ships concerned or required assistance at no time saw jeopardize their safety.
