New Delivery Route Railroad in Eagle. (15/04/2014)

Coinciding with the third Sunday of the month, the Department of Tourism of the City of Eagle take place next weekend a new installment of the "Railroad Route", a free guided tour and Menchón Angel, a member of the cultural association of Friends of the Railroad "The Labradorcico" and expert on trains, which is combined with cultural and recreational places value the important existing railway heritage in the city.

The next Sunday, April 20, at 10 am, will begin in the Plaza de Isaac Peral, where the monument is located at Railroad (a machine locomotive built in 1889 in Glasgow).

Touring the seaside promenade to the Railway Bridge "Snakes", declared of cultural interest, to continue to walk the Path of the stove, where several tunnels and mineral deposits, some of them recently renovated are located.

In this place are several viewpoints, with spectacular views of the Bay, and "Pier Stove", a majestic mineral carrier built in 1901 by the British East Railway Company.

The tour will continue with a visit to the railway station, in which is located under the Railway Museum, which includes a photo and utensils used throughout history exhibition, as well as several model trains in motion, ending with the last stop in the restored "Casa del Huerto Don Jorge," a building of the early twentieth century eclectic style, which was the former residence of George Bog Lee, director of the railroad company Lorca-Baza-Aguilas between 1907 and 1936.

Those interested in participating in this route, must first register with the Office of Tourism, while space tourist train.
