The Minister of Education, Universities and Employment, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández, held this weekend a meeting with the president of the Agricultural Cooperative Societies Murcia (Fecamur) Federation, Francisco Lopez, and other representatives of this group, in which they discussed the possibility of generating new jobs between the companies forming this group.
The meeting was addressed, in particular the possibilities of incorporation of highly qualified personnel to contribute to the development and implementation of technologies to increase the competitiveness of agrifood cooperatives.
Also, in the subsequent visit to the facilities of Coáguilas, Pedro Antonio Sanchez acknowledged the efforts being undertaken by this group in new developments and environmental protection policy.
The employment minister said the region Guadalentin "plays a major role in the agri and development of these initiatives as cooperative social economy guaranteed by the present and future maintenance and employment generation in the municipalities in which they are put in place. "
At the meeting, the Minister also informed the cooperative work being done by the department heads to expedite the launch of the call for aid intended the Autonomous Community of the social economy and more than four million.
Also, other issues, such as training for the incorporation of young professionals to cooperatives in the region were discussed.
When visiting Coáguilas, president Fecamur informed the Minister of Employment and the mayor of Eagle that generate about 800 jobs for the cultivation and marketing of products such as tomatoes, lettuce, watermelon and various citrus.
