Coastal Eco-Schools students planted 150 pine trees in the urban environment of Eagles (16/01/2014)

Thanks to the donation of the alveoli by umbrella pines Forest Protection Service Autonomous Community and the collaboration of the Department of Education of the City Council of Eagle, three zones have been conditioned to make a pine forest within the town.

It is a task that aims to develop habits of protecting the values ​​of the town and care for the environment.

Identifying each tree with the name of student involvement is intended for families that track along the way and get it to grow healthy and strong, generating a constructive activity.

Previously, the monitors have conducted a training workshop in the classroom where they explained the influence of trees in the environment and the positive consequences when he grows up.

The students have learned the basic steps to condition the soil, root balls and work with the basic care of the plantation in the following days.

The green areas in cities have the function of generating satisfactory environments for recreational and social activities.
