The hamlet of Tébar hooked this weekend celebrating the festivities in honor of San Anton Abad (15/01/2014)

The aquiline hamlet of Tébar host this weekend traditional festivals in honor of St. Anthony Abbot, patron saint of animals, with a program of events which was presented this morning in the City of Eagle for mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde, along the village headman, Juan José Méndez, and the president of the neighborhood association, Blas Carrasco.

Valverde said that "this year's activities will take place both Saturday night and Sunday morning, extending a festive day in recent editions focused on a single day."

During the course of the press conference, Carrasco Mendez and detailed content lineup of events, which will be held in the Social Hall Tébar, which included the following proposals:

Saturday, January 18

From 21 am concert by singer Maribel Castillo, winner of the "A tu vera" which offer a repertoire of Spanish song.

Next, performance of the comedian and ventriloquist dolls and Lolita Torres.

Sunday, January 19

At 12:30 pm, after Holy Mass and blessing of animals.

At 13:30 hours, solemn procession with the image of San Anton Abad.

As usual, attendees will be auctioned between the right to bear the Holy and the Banner.

The day will continue with dancing Bidding and Songs of Easter, with the participation of crews Marina de Cope and Cuesta de Gos.

Throughout the evening there will be various raffles and bar service, ending with the traditional "You send Easter".

The meeting with the media concluded with a call for participation, inviting all citizens to visit this weekend and the hamlet of Tébar enjoy the acts that have been organized in honor of San Anton Abad.
