The boardwalk Port of Eagles will be replaced by a new pavement (15/11/2013)

Following authorization from the Directorate General for Transport and Ports, the City of Eagle has started work this week replacing the wooden walkway located in the fishing port.

Is a section of 1.100 m2 in which continuous occasioned damage, mainly due to the poor resistance to these boards showed passing pedestrians.

Over the years, this journey was repaired on numerous occasions and returned shortly after to deteriorate, so the Consistory aquiline has chosen to substitute a cobblestone pavement to keep consistency with that in the surrounding area.

The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, said that "last summer had to ride a stretch bounded to avoid accidents and even though the action was the subject of some criticism, the City ensured at all times, for the safety of the citizens and used the time to apply for the appropriate permit so we can carry out the work now being carried out ".

Hernandez said "the city government was not willing to waste money on doing the aquiline repairs were useless and have preferred to make a performance that will eradicate the problem forever."
