This morning was inaugurated in Mary Immaculate College Eagles, the first information sessions for truancy prevention and cessation education system for pupils of primary and secondary education in the municipality.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the Councillor for Education and Public Safety, Francisco Clemente, accompanied by local police sergeant, Andrew Lledo, and two technicians from the municipal social services, Ascension Squares and Yolanda Román.
These initial training sessions are aimed at students in the sixth year of primary education and had the assistance of the director of the center, Puche Angeles.
According to Francisco Clemente said during his speech, the lines of action are mainly based on three key aspects "prevention, awareness and coordination."
Clemente said that "to achieve greater effectiveness in this program, has established a protocol involving: the departments of Education and Social Services Consistory aquiline, the local police and the management teams of the various schools in the city ​​".
The information sessions will be extended to all the schools and colleges of Eagles, in order that all local educational comunity aware all of the lines of action in cases of truancy.
