Strong winds have allowed to be undertaken seven of the nine races scheduled

The championship has been organized by the Sports Boat Juan Montiel and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation

The Catamaran Spain Championship 2013, held at the Puerto Juan Montiel Eagles, comes to an end with a total of seven of the nine tests in total were planned because of strong winds.

"The sailors have really enjoyed our waters and Eagles have recognized as an ideal location for water sports," says Juan Francisco Montiel, president of the Nautical Sports Juan Montiel.

In Formula 18, the title of champion of Spain lies in the team of Michael Ten Bokum and Enrique Ortiz, of Valencia, who had 22 points to earn the title despite finishing fourth.

The reason is that the top positions were awarded to participants of foreign sailing clubs, who may participate but not winning the championship.

By scoring first place in this category went to Robert Fijhneer and S.

Valencia Dekker, second place for Antoni Carlos and Fernando Faneco of Portugal, Luis Miguel Santos and Pedro Figueiredo of Portugal also 12.8, 15 and 18 points respectively.

In this category, Murcia and Roberto Patricio Carrilero Carrilero have finished in eleventh place with 68 points.

In Hobie 16, the title of champion of Spain is for the team of Marc Jovani and Rocio Piris, of Valencia, with 6 points.

In second place are classified Miguel Lopez and Javier Jacobo Martinez, and thirdly Llabres and Ana Juan Antonio Thomas, both of Valencia, with 10 and 20 points respectively.

In fourth place, with only one point difference (21) have been completed and Alejandro Murcia Juan Barnuevo Barnuevo.

In Interseries, the champions of Spain are Ascension Rock and Vernon Cerdan, of Valencia, followed by Alfredo Bernal of Catalonia in second place and Michael Parrado of Andalusia in third, with 6, 12 and 15 points respectively.

No Murcia has competed in this category.

The championship has been organized by the Sports Boat Juan Montiel and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation with the collaboration of the National Secretariat of the Class and the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia.

Development of the third day of the Championship

This Sunday morning has begun testing at 11 am, with ideal weather conditions for catamarans.
