Championship Standings Spain catamarans 2013 after the second day of competition (29/09/2013)

Involving more than 100 sailors from Spain and Portugal

This morning kicked off the second day of racing catamarans Spain Championship 2013 which is taking place at the Puerto Juan Montiel Eagles.

Testing began at 11 am with winds of between 22-25 knots.

The Race Committee has considered making only two of the three tests planned for the second day due to the wind conditions and sea.

Class A:

The first three positions are for Abdon Ibález of Valencia and Micky Todd competing for the Region of Murcia, both with 7 points, and Santiago Nieto of Andalusia, with 8 points.

Eagles, location chosen to celebrate national championship

The Region of Murcia has been the destination of choice in this edition 2013, to celebrate Spain Catamaran Championship.

The Coast Eagles is the point where, from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 September, more than one hundred fifty boats and sailors from Spain and Portugal will meet in this event, considered the "younger brother" ship model of the current edition of the Copa America.

"Eagle is an ideal spot for water sports by the characteristics of our Sea as weather conditions. The official opening will take place at the Marina Juan Montiel Eagles on Thursday and the prizegiving ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon.
