Eagles joins the commemoration of World Alzheimer's Day (20/09/2013)

To coincide with the eve of the commemoration of World Alzheimer's Day, the local association that brings together people who have diagnosed this disease, in collaboration with the Department of Health of the session aquiline, installed this morning in the Plaza of Spain an information stand.

The motive was to raise awareness about the consequences of Alzheimer's and the importance of actions to help promote early detection this disease that affects more than 3 million people in Spain, among those who suffer directly and their family caregivers.

The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, and the mayor of Health, Ana Maria, along with other councilors of the Municipal Corporation, today visited the information booth where members of the Alzheimer's Association will put a loop Eagles solidarity.

During this meeting, city officials said that "Alzheimer's is a problem of all, which does not only affect people who have the disease, but those who are around you and are responsible for their daily care, so we must be together and cooperate within our means to mitigate its effects. "

Thus, the Alzheimer's Association Eagles closed a week of events that began on Tuesday, with the completion of a open day at its headquarters for citizens to learn about the work being done and become partners to collaborate in the projects carried out.
