Students and Primary Education today begin the new academic year at Eagles (09/09/2013)

Just over 4,000 students and Primary Education begin the new academic year along this week at Eagles, said today the council session aquiline Education, Francisco Clemente.

The mayor this morning visited various schools in the locality, to see how we performed first day of school after the summer holidays.

Clemente said the elementary and primary students will be gradually added, during these days, while secondary education will do next week, adding about 5,600 students enrolled in the various schools in the municipality.

Of these, 354 are incorporated for the first time to the educational system, are those born in the year 2010.

After the visit, the council wanted to highlight the work of improvement which have been under different schools of the town, which has invested around 62,000 euros, all performed during the holiday period so they do not affect the normal functioning of classes.

The works highlighted by Francisco Clemente have focused on the adequacy of the facilities and in improving safety for students and faculty.

These have included the construction of fire escapes and access ramps for rescue vehicles, arrangement of courtyards and toilets, installation of crash barriers, replacement of doors, repair of roofing and different paint jobs.

Finally, Clement wished to emphasize the willingness has been found in the new team of the Ministry of Education of Murcia and in the whole of the governing bodies of the schools aquiline, with the soon to be carried out collaborative frameworks to enhance identity of the different centers and work together on improving education.
