After a summer full of events for all tastes and ages, the program of events organized by the Department of Celebrations of the City of Eagle is about to come to an end.
One of the last concerts to be hosted by the Plaza de Antonio Cortijo will be that the famous singer Malu offered next Friday, August 23, at 22:30 hours.
Malu is one of the most important voices of the Spanish pop.
Born into a family of great artists, grew up surrounded by talent, art and music.
Paco de Lucia's niece and daughter of Pepe de Lucía, began his career with only 15 years.
Except as godfather had Alejandro Sanz, who composed for her "Apprentice" theme that quickly became a huge success.
Since then, he has developed one of the most solid and respected careers of music in Spain, with more than two million copies sold ten CDs published, 19 Platinum albums and numerous awards, including the Latin Grammy nomination for 2011 in the category of "Best Female Pop Vocal Album".
Malu is particularly noted for his powerful and direct care with which he has toured the main scenarios hanging the entries there.
His strength has led interpretive singing in numerous top artists and has also been recognized for his involvement in various charitable causes, participating actively with organizations like Red Cross, Unicef, Save the Children, AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer) and his uncompromising defense of animals, working with Mascoteros solidarity, among other associations.
