The Championship Adapted Cycling Spain will be one of the biggest events of the weekend at Eagles (16/05/2013)

Eagles will host various activities during the next weekend, among which include the following:

Saturday, May 18:

At 12'00 and 18.00 hours, the Department of Culture of the City of Eagle, in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Center Albinegro has organized tours to the Archaeological Museum and the Roman baths, to commemorate the International Day of Museums.

Free will, depart from the Archaeological Museum from those previously mentioned and will be led by Rafael López García, Albinegro signature.

From 16'00 hours, starting and finishing at the Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena", ITT Championship Adapted Cycling Spain.

Over a hundred athletes from various regions will compete in the different categories, having for the first time with the participation of the deaf, who have been integrated into this competition with other riders with various disabilities.

The test bikes with different features together (tandems, hand bike, tricycles, etc..) And the route will run along a street circuit of 13.5 kilometers, which will give riders several times depending on the mode in which they participate.

The awards ceremony will take place on 19.30 hours, at the finish line, with the presence of authorities.

At 21.00 pm, in the Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena, new delivery Concert Series VI "Bands Eagles."

The event, which will serve to close this sixth edition concert will be divided into two parts and will include the participation of the Musical Youth "The Muses" of Guadalupe, led by José Ibáñez Barrachina, Head Band and Musical Patronage Columbine " Francisco Diaz Romero, "directed by Juan Rojo Garcia.

It will be free to fill the capacity of the room and will include a varied repertoire: pasodobles, operetta, etc..

Sunday, May 19:

Beginning at 9:00 pm, starting and finishing at the Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena" Test Championship Fund Adapted Cycling Spain.

The awards ceremony, in the presence of authorities, will take place on 13.30.

At 10:00 pm, the Department of Tourism of the City of Eagle will hold a new installment of "The Rail Trail" a free guided tour which offers us the important railway heritage found in the city.

Tourist train will start from Plaza de Isaac Peral, which houses the monument to the railway (a machine locomotive built in 1889 in Glasgow) and tour the promenade up to the Railroad Bridge "La Rambla of Snakes", declared Cultural, to continue walking along the path of the stove, where are located several tunnels and mineral deposits.

In the same place are several viewpoints, with spectacular views of the Bay, and the "Pier Stove", a majestic mineral carrier built in 1901 by the British Company Southeastern Railway.

The tour will continue with a visit to the railway station, in which lies under the Railway Museum, ending with the last stop at the "Casa del Huerto Don Jorge", a building from the early twentieth century eclectic style, which was the former residence of George Lee Bog, director of the railroad company Lorca-Baza-Aguilas between 1907 and 1936.
