The councilman of Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martínez, and the president of the venerated and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Lady Virgin de los Dolores, José Cáceres, along with the pastor of St. Joseph, Manuel Amatriaín, presented this morning at the session aquiline acts of the 50th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Canonical Lady of Sorrows as Patroness of Eagles.
The May 31, 1963, Pope John XXIII signed the declaration canonical and since then the Dolorosa is recognized by all the people and by the church as Patroness and Mother of all aquiline.
Commemorative activities will begin on May 25 and will run until June 2, with the following contents:
May 25: Eucharist and prayer-vigil-concert by the group Siloam.
It will be at 20:00 pm in the parish of San José.
May 26: Mass of the venerated and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Lady Virgin of Sorrows and Solemn levee to the Patroness of Eagles.
It will take place at 20:00 pm, in the parish of San José.
From May 28 to June 2: In the Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena" exhibition of photographs, posters and mantles of Our Lady Virgin of Sorrows.
Will be in 18.00 hours to 20.30 hours.
May 30: At 19.30 am at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia, Cristobal Belda conference Navarro, Professor of Art History, under the title "Our Lady of Sorrows Sorrowful Eagles and other eighteenth century."
The presentation will be led by Juan de Dios Hernández García, local archaeologist.
May 31: At 20:00 pm, at the door of the parish of San José, Solemn Eucharist presided by José Manuel Lorca Planes, Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena.
