Eagles reminds Salvador Jimenez, adopted son of the city, on the eleventh anniversary of his death (20/02/2013)

The departments of Education and Culture, in collaboration with the writer Franz Joseph aquiline Montalbán, have led several texts Jimenez to schools in the municipality, to be read in class.

On Sunday, February 17, marked the eleventh anniversary of the death of the writer, poet, journalist and adopted son of Eagles, Salvador Jimenez.

Therefore, this week, the departments of Education and Culture of the City of Eagle, in collaboration with writer Franz Joseph aquiline Montalbán, have led several texts Jimenez to schools in the municipality, to be read in class.

The document has been sent to the departments of language and literature, offers teachers at all levels so students can recite poetry and prose of the author, which serve as a reminder to not forget the figure of this illustrious character who always carried the reputation of Eagles.

One of the letters sent to schools in the town is "Eagle Blue and White", which reads as follows:

The Glorieta is the agora of the people, where everybody is.

It has its headquarters three inherited institutions and powerful influence: the Church, the banking and politics, resided in the City.

Popular weddings abound after the Church of St. Joseph, carried neoclassical, enlivened with the windows that drew the painter Manuel Coronado.

The venerated image of Our Lady of Sorrows, carving Roque López, outstanding disciple of Salzillo, is the town's patron fervent devotion that brings the aquiline.

Banking, besides other accounts, must have in their aggressive a sad example of ornamental design.

The City retains good flavor neomudéjar tracery windows and topped by horseshoe arches.
