More than 800 personnel will ensure the safety of the Carnival of Eagles 2013 (01/02/2013)

This morning has been presented at the Guildhall aguileño the "Emergency Plan Specific Eagles Carnival 2013", which will be activated tomorrow and will remain operational until 17 February.

The most significant data were released during the course of a press conference, at which were present: Mayor Eagles, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, the mayor of Health, Ana Maria Miñarro, the council of Public Safety, Francisco Clement, the director of Health and Relief Red Cross, Miguel Angel Molina, deputy inspector of the local police, Jose Luis, and the coordinator of the Municipal Emergency Service and Civil Protection, Pedro Sanchez.

As reported by the authorities, the total computing team that will participate in the said Plan shall consist of 829 people, 162 more than last year, belonging to different bodies: Municipal Emergency Services, Civil Protection, Private Security, Local Police, Fire, Technical Services, Police, Red Cross, 061, SUAP and other public and private services.

As for material, included the participation of 72 vehicles and two hospitals (one campaign and other emergencies) and 196 stations, the Emergency Coordination Centre of Civil Protection and the Advanced Command Post (PUMA).

The municipal officials have indicated that they expected to draw more than 300,000 people, over different days when major events will take place, so the cooperation of citizens have asked for everything satisfactorily elapses while they have reminded the 112 emergency number.

The area of ​​health security, carnival night, will be located on the Esplanade Port, facing the Plaza de Isaac Peral, and like previous years will be equipped with a field hospital and other material and human resources.

Another point of interest is the reference to prevention and safety device, composed of Local Police and Civil Guard, which is active in the urban and rural areas during the celebration of the carnival events, and in the hours before and after Completed thereof.

Local authorities have indicated that there will be special bus services and taxis, which run for 24 hours on the busiest days of visitors and until 2 am the rest, which will serve different hotel establishments and peripheral areas municipality.

Finally, from the City of Eagle thanked the voluntary collaboration of Red Cross and Civil Protection, which will move to the city from different municipalities to strengthen the security device.
