The Department of Tourism at aquiline and services sector entrepreneurs have joined forces to create a joint venture, which this weekend is done for the first time in the municipality, based on the sale of a package tour designed to show the benefits on seabeds rich in flora and fauna, under the name of "Diving Eagle".
Mayor Eagles, Bartolomé Hernández, and the mayor of Tourism, Clara Valverde, accompanied by various officials and guests, have been responsible for opening this package of activities, which this morning has begun with the opening of a photographic exhibition outdoors, located in the Plaza of Spain, on the seabed and natural landscapes of the area.
The exhibition includes underwater ambient sound, which helps visitors to immerse themselves in the tranquility in the seabed.
The events will continue this afternoon at the Marina Nautical School "Juan Montiel" with a series of lectures by the famous divers, Inés García and Alejandro Echemendía.
During the day on Saturday, will offer a collective dive baptism to be held free of charge for over 14 years, in West Bay, by Zoea Diving School, and for children 11 and 14 years in the swimming pool of Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel.
In the afternoon, participants will enjoy a new theatrical route, part of the Tourism Competitiveness Plan, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn everything about the wealth of the seabed and parks aquiline "Ecobuceo" and visit cultural tourism along the coast of Eagles, on board the vessel "Don Pancho".
