On the occasion of the commemoration of World Mental Health, the Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness and Shire Eagles (AFEMAC), in collaboration with the Department of Health of the City of Eagles, set up shop in the Square Spain, where pedestrians have informed the work developed in the municipality.
With the slogan "The best investment, your mental health," this October 10th, reunited in FEAFES associations (Spanish Confederation of Families and People with Mental Illness) have called for attention to keep more than one million people with severe mental illness living in Spain.
Similarly, have made an appeal to the whole population, to invest time and attention in their own mental health and that of the people around you: family, friends, coworkers, etc..
During the morning, the mayor of Eagles, Bartolomé Hernández, and the mayor of Health, Ana Maria Miñarro, along with other local authorities, have returned to transmit to the President of AFEMAC, Dolores Morales, full support of the City of Eagles to further develop their excellent work in the municipality.
This action concludes a week of activities in which AFEMAC has made an Open Day where Ana Maria Miñarro, accompanied by Social Services staff in Aguilas, personally visited the facilities of this group.
