Ends at the Eagles last year in July at the International University of the Sea (27/07/2012)

The mayor of Aging aquiline Consistory, Ana Maria Miñarro, participated this afternoon at the close of the course "Active aging and disability. Keys to quality service."

With the closure of the course "Active aging and disability. Keys to quality service", International University of the Sea concluded this afternoon with the offer of training scheduled for July in Eagle, which has led to the execution of four courses, cited above and that of: "Economic crisis and labor reform: two old acquaintances," "Cell therapy from the bench to the bedside and return" and "Criminal justice in Spain."

Today's event has been borne by: the mayor of Aging aquiline Consistory, Ana Maria Miñarro, the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Development and Training at the University of Murcia, Fernando Martin, the director of the Sea International University, Carmen Martinez The course director, Nuria Illán and the President of Down Spain, Fabian House, among other authorities.

The course "Active aging and disability. Keys to quality service" has been developed at the Eagles 25 to 27 July, with a total of 25 hours of training, considering the following objectives:

1. - To promote awareness of the factors that may contribute to active aging and healthy group of people with disabilities.

2. - To identify the contributions of the one called Person-Centered Planning in the design of interventions aimed at aging people with disabilities.

3. - Know the recent contributions that are being generated from the WHO in the field of psychiatric nosology in ICD-11 and DSM-5.

4. - To explore, from a multidisciplinary perspective, the key ideas to consider when planning services and programs for people with disabilities as they age.

The next meeting of the International University of the Sea Eagles will be next month, with the XVII Lecture "Looking to the Sea", which will take place from 2 to 16 August, the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena ", bringing together a total of four talks:

Thursday 2 August: "The trip to the moon to the ocean floor: Magic and fantasy films of Georges Melies," by Thomas Joaquin Belchí Canovas, Professor of Art History at the University of Murcia.

Tuesday, August 7: "Why our earth trembles? Tectonic context Guadalentín Valley, Sierra de Almenara and Aguilas Basin," with Juan Antonio Lopez Martin, Professor of Secondary Education specializing in Biology and Geology, in the IES Ramón Arcas Mecca of Lorca, and member of the Spanish Association for the Teaching of Earth Sciences.

Thursday August 9, "From the Atacama Desert Eagles: The conservation of the flora of arid areas", by Juan Francisco Mota Poveda, Professor of Botany at the University of Almería and member of the Spanish Society for Conservation Biology Plant.

Thursday, August 16: "The undersea continental margin aquiline" with John Acosta Yepes, researcher at the Spanish Institute of Oceanography.

September will bring to the town two new courses: "Current Issues in vision. Visual therapy and pediatric optometry," which will run from 7 to 10, and "Tourist destinations: systems and models for the overall quality of products and destinations "which will be held from 10 to 13.
