Councilman Sports has stated that "this is the fourth time that the city hosts the celebration of the Championship of Spain, becoming the venue where it has been played more times, reflecting the organizational capacity of the Municipal Sports and quality of sports facilities in the municipality, making Eagles in the place for holding such events, with consequent benefits it brings to the hotel establishments engaged in the service sector. The competition, which takes place in the men's and women consist of all the classical tests of these championships (speed, background, progress, obstacles, jumping, throwing, etc..), With the exception of disciplinary background of 10,000 meters, participants ages 35 years onwards, class changing every 5 years.
