This past weekend the Eagles were held in commemoration of 60 years of priesthood Miñarro Francisco Asensio, a dear and valued aquiline cure to his hometown paid a deserved tribute and multitudinous in their "diamond wedding".
The events began with a concelebrated Mass held in the parish of "Carmen", which has been pastor Miñarro for nearly 30 years.
After the Mass, the procession moved to a popular local restaurant, where they held a food-tribute, in which not without many expressions of affection that Don Francisco was excited and made it clear that the large number of friends who, at age 86, continues to cultivate the priest.
Among the details of the evening, sheltered by local authorities, relatives, colleagues and friends, read letters sent by former altar boys and the family Escámez and were given different gifts, like some stoles offered by his parishioners.
The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez Gimenez, read the minutes plenary approving initiate the process to give the name of a street in the town and gave him a plaque on behalf of the Municipal Corporation, joining other plate from the Nursing Home San Francisco, where he currently serves as chaplain.
