The Shopkeeper Joaquin College Eagles already have a new library (23/04/2012)

The mayor of Eagles, by the council of education and director of the center today opened the new facility.

Coinciding with the commemoration of World Book Day, the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez Gimenez, together with the Councillor for Education, Francisco Clemente, and the director of CEIP Joaquin Shopkeeper, Ana Maria Navarro, inaugurated this morning the new library of that school .

The facilities are located in the main building and are fully equipped to service the five hundred students enrolled in the school, with a back catalog of nearly 6,000.

Ana Maria Navarro indicated that students have a card reader which have free access to any of the books that the library has and can even take home to complete exercises or enjoy reading during the weekend .

For his part, Councillor for Education has stated that "the cake of a new center for culture and training of students, which is expected to develop storytelling and meetings with authors, among other activities planned by the center.

Finally, the mayor of Eagles has congratulated the entire educational community integrated into the CEIP Joaquin Shopkeeper and especially its governing body, which has managed to realize this project, while stressed that the school regains its library, after several years where the need for more classrooms for the school class enrolled there prevented the possibility of offering this facility to students, a reality that has changed thanks to new schools recently opened in the township.
