The City Council and the Association of Farmers and Ranchers Field Eagles have signed a collaboration agreement to promote and support the sector (25/01/2012)

The heading is held on Wednesday, January 25, in the Consistory aquiline, between the mayor of Eagles and the local president of BDA.

The mayor of Eagles, Giménez Hernández Bartolomé and President of the Association of Farmers and Ranchers Eagles Field, Jose Martinez, today signed a collaboration agreement to promote and support agriculture in the municipality.

The heading is held in the hall of the Consistory aquiline and has also had the presence of the council of Agriculture and Fisheries, Francisco Navarro, as well as other representatives of BDA, an association with more than 18 years of professional association and eagles.

Through this agreement, local government will implement actions aimed at promoting local agriculture, the objective being the backbone of all measures taken to enable this sector of the local economy, supported through the promotion of actions and activities promoted by ASAJA-Eagles.

To this end, the City of Eagle will make available to the Agrarian Association of Young Farmers an office in the Municipal Center Local Training and Development, which allows the execution of its business.

For its part, BDA-Eagle is committed to guide, inform and educate both members of that association, as any person interested in being an active part of the sector, using regular classroom training at the Center for organizing the above performances.

As indicated by the local chief executive, the City of Eagles attributed to the agricultural sector a role in the local economy, coming to represent around 40% of it, a position that places him as a creator of employment and guarantee of development of the municipality.

For this reason, Bartolome Hernandez welcomes the municipal commitment to all initiatives to propose lines of action for the promotion of agriculture, and, in particular, collaboration with agricultural associations formed for the same purpose, with whom to join forces in achieving common goals.

Councillor for Agriculture and Fisheries, Francisco Navarro, said that the commitment of aquiline Consistory for the fruits of this collaboration also seeks the goal of strengthening the image as a farming town of Aguilas.

All this, with the ultimate aim of achieving progress on the challenges of increasing the preparation, training and promotion of the agricultural sector of our municipality.
