The regional deputy and spokesman of the Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Eagle, M ª Carmen Moreno, introduced in the Assembly two parliamentary initiatives, which calls on the Ministry of Culture explanations that have been denied the Holy Week of Eagles the declaration of Regional Tourist Interest, as well as the record which reflects the negative.
Moreno lamented that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has not been receptive to the request for declaration of Regional Tourist Interest, "something that would improve the cultural tourist and our town. As we ask the counselor to reconsider and, where appropriate, make the necessary rectifications and, at the earliest, they are communicated to the City Council to do the right thing. "
In a parliamentary initiatives, the Socialist deputy recalled that the City of Eagle filed on February 18, 2009, the application of demand for the declaration of Regional Tourist Interest for Easter Eagles.
Almost three-year wait
The Directorate General of Tourism is the competent body to the proposal and processing of applications for the granting or revocation of the designation of "Regional Tourist Interest" and "Festival of Excellence in Tourism" and the refusal issued after nearly three years should this application.
