The Department of Health of the City of Eagle has launched two new courses on "Food Handler" which today are held in the Municipal Building "The Placetón".
In this issue, Health has focused the training offered to students in the course of initial vocational qualification in the specialty of Auxiliary Services for Restoration, and sectors catering businesses (bars, restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, hamburger, etc.. ), butchers, delicatessens, bakeries and food retailers (fishmongers, greengrocers, etc.)..
The overall objective of the courses is to ensure that all food handlers have adequate training in food hygiene, according to their work.
During the training period, students will learn the health-disease and its relationship with food, the negative consequences of food contamination poses to the health, appreciate and value the importance of food handlers in the genesis of foodborne diseases and the basic requirements of food handlers.
