An agreement between the Consistory and address aquiline Desalination Plant 'Eagles-Guadalentín' has allowed the settlement of this stretch of road.
The Department of Goods and Works aquiline Consistory has coordinated the work of paving a stretch of three kilometers belonging to the "Way of Melenchon."
As reported by the mayor in charge of this area, Diego Martínez Parra, improvement works have been carried out thanks to the agreement between the Consistory and address aquiline Desalination Plant "Eagles-Guadalentín", which latter bore the costs of the works of asphalt, as compensation for damage caused to the said road, due to the continuous movement of heavy vehicles that have circulated that way during the construction of this plant.
Martínez Parra has indicated that it is a way in which daily pass large numbers of vehicles, since there are several farms in the area to which access through this way.
Councilman Goods and Works has said that "this action is the first of a series of actions to improve that, over the next year 2012 will be carried out by different roads in the municipality of Eagles."
