Lorenzo Sanchez Alonso and Maria Dolores Miras Tudela have won first prize in each of the categories of eighteenth Contest Bouquet tomato, held today in the vicinity of the Church of Garrobillo within the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, organized by Agrarian Association of Young Farmers Eagles Cajamurcia ASAJA in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and the City of Eagles.
This year the festival comes of age and is reinforced, not only as an activity of interest to agriculture, but as cultural and recreational activity and rooted in our town.
The event began at 5 o'clock and registered a record 100 participants who were presented with a jar to save handmade ceramic flour.
The jury was composed by Antonio in the Garden, and Silvia Villaescusa Escarabajal Isidro and, being the independent board's opinion and decision and final satisfaction of all.
Participants were divided into two categories, first 3 prizes for the tomato Bouquet and 3 other awards for tomato ranch.
The first awards were presented by Mayor Bartolome Hernandez, the second by the president of Asaja Jose Martinez and third by Councilman Francisco Navarro Agriculture.
All winners were presented with a lot of Christmas and a nice ceramic tray.
