The Danish painter 'Allan Madsen' exhibited his work at Eagles (05/12/2011)

The sample is located in the own studio where the artist works on a daily basis, located on Calle Joaquin Costa, 17.

The mayor of Culture and Heritage, Francisco Martinez and Council Member of the Working Group, Miguel Carrasco, visited the exhibition of paintings by Danish artist "Allan Madsen," a sample in which mingles the classic and modern style.

Allan Madsen was born in 1952 in Randers (Denmark).

At the age of 5 years moved to Canada with his family.

Between 1971 and 1981 he studied and taught music in London, specializing in Renaissance music for lute.

At this time (1981) began studying Fine Arts in Paris.

Over the next 7 years, despite living in Paris, he developed a constant activity in Italy and Spain where he met his wife would be, with which in 1988 he moved to Sweden.

Their three children were born there, happened while statements of their work.

After a period of time, in 1996, Allan and his family are permanently based at Eagles, where he currently develops his work is internationally known after several exhibitions in Europe and North America.

Early work focused on Danish landscapes and still lifes, but lately nudes, portraits and abstract creations prominently in his work.

The exhibition can be visited in their own studio where the artist works on a daily basis, located on Calle Joaquin Costa, 17.
