Detection of narcotics and explosives with the help of dogs, immobilization and arresting robbers and protection of personalities are some of the exercises performed.
Today Friday, December 2, was carried out in the Municipal Sports Eagles exhibition program and training of the Police Rescue Unit and Special Operations (UPRO), composed of officers from different municipalities.
The exercises have been supervised by the mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, Councillor of Public Safety, Francisco Clemente, and the local police sergeant, Jose Luis Sanchez, among other authorities and police officers from different locations.
During training, the actors have made narcotics and explosives detection, aided by police dogs and the detention and arrest of some suspected robbers fleeing with a hostage.
Finally, UPRO members have made a practice of protecting individuals and assaulted at a home, the thieves neutralizing and rescuing home owners.
After the exhibition, local authorities have positively assessed these practices, while highlighted the high level of preparedness of local police.
