The Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena" is added to the culture and sightseeing of Eagles (22/03/2011)

The building was inaugurated today by the mayor of Eagles and the President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

Eagles Mayor, Juan Ramírez Soto and President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, accompanied by other local and regional authorities, today inaugurated the Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena" Eagles.

After the opening ceremony, the mayor and the chief executive of Murcia have toured the different rooms of this impressive infrastructure, built on an area of ​​about 8,000 square feet, accompanied by the drafters of the project architects, Fabrizio Barozzi Veiga and Alberto and the rest guests.

The ground floor houses, among other rooms, a multipurpose room with a capacity for 150 persons and a restaurant-cafeteria, offices and dressing rooms.

From the first floor central hall highlights the multifunctional, that can accommodate up to 750 spectators, with a scenic area of ​​500 square meters with orchestra pit, where he developed the most massive events, counting, addition, three simultaneous translation booths and areas room management techniques.

In the main hall has a large window of 9'50 meters tall, that holes into the sea, with spectacular views over the bay and castle San Juan de las Aguilas, welcoming in another room upstairs with seating for 300 users.

Auditorium-Congress Palace "Infanta Elena" is destined to become an architectural icon in the municipality.

Not surprisingly, the project has been part of an international exhibition under the name "A Town Called Spain" which was exhibited at the National Glyptotheque of Athens, where he collected eighty projects of over one hundred prestigious Spanish architects.
