Youth Specialists share their experiences in a course at the University of the Sea Eagles (17/09/2010)

The Director General of Youth, Veronica Lopez, closed today at the Eagles 'III non-formal education course in youth work', organized by his department within the program of the International University of the Sea, which has allowed specialists in various parts of Spain to share their experiences and knowledge.

At the closing ceremony was also attended by the local mayor, Juan Ramirez, and the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, University of Murcia, Francisco Guillermo Diaz.

Veronica Lopez said that the organization of this activity, "addresses the growing need for training of professionals working with youth, besides being a forum for exchange of experiences in non formal education."

This seminar, which began last Monday, was attended, in different talks, lectures and organized activities, a total of 70 people, including students, technicians and professionals working with youth.

The appointment of venture this year surpassed the two previous editions of the course.

For five days, teachers at the University of Murcia, other universities, and special programs to public institutions and social action organizations addressed issues such as experiential learning methodologies and values education.

They also discussed other aspects such as processes and group dynamics, social animation community, the global identity and different methodologies based on body language and drama, as well as environmental education and responsible consumption.
