Box Mediterranean teaches over 500 students Eagles sources and uses of energy (16/09/2010)

Eagles schoolchildren learn what energy is, how it is generated, how many sources there are and what you can do with it, as well as the effects of misuse of power can have on the environment.

All this and much more is what are the elementary students when they visit the Energy Plaza, an educational initiative that aims Caja Mediterráneo through games teach children to different sources of energy, and do not differentiate between renewable and understand its functioning, while instilling a critical knowledge on the importance of energy conservation and efficiency.

Regional President Caja Mediterráneo, Angel Martinez, and Mayor of Aguilas, Juan Ramírez, this morning visited the Mediterranean Fund activity.

Energy Square consists of several tents, inspired by the appearance of the igloos of the polar regions.

Each tent is the scene of a different theme.

Caja Mediterráneo, in collaboration with the City of Eagle, has installed its Energy Plaza in the Plaza Alfonso Escámez, where for three days, more than 500 students in the municipality have the opportunity to have a working knowledge of the energy world.

"

This activity is designed to perform in a traveling by different municipalities and schools, covering all levels of primary, focusing especially on the higher levels.
