The mayor of Local Development, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, attended yesterday the act of awarding diplomas to students who have achieved certificates of professionalism in the program Basic operations of flats in accommodation, organized by the Sef e taught at the Hotel Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel.
A program, said Juan Francisco Montiel, CEO of Grupo Montiel y García, of which "a total of 15 students have benefited, ten of whom completed their training with a full-time work contract of at least three months in the hotel facilities. "
On this matter, the mayor of Local Development referred to the importance of "professionalizing such an important sector for our municipality as is tourism", while encouraging citizens to participate in any type of training program aimed at improving employability in an increasingly competitive work environment.
